Katy Perry Says Taylor Swift Collaboration Could Happen... But Only Under One Condition

We wouldn't hold our breath for this one, to be honest.

Katy Perry has hinted that she could be ready to let bygones be bygones when it comes to Taylor Swift… but there’s one rather big condition.

The two have been pitted against one another in the press ever since Taylor Swift released ‘Bad Blood’ in 2014, believed to be about Katy, who she subtly accused in an interview of attempting to sabotage her career.

Since then, Katy has been relatively quiet about Taylor, only throwing the occasional subtle shade on Twitter, but has now suggested that she’d be ready to leave the past in the past and even collaborate with the ‘Shake It Off’ singer on a future project… but only if the latter swallows her pride and apologises first.

Over the weekend, Katy had a bit of a Q&A session with her fans, with one posing the question: “Will you collab with Taylor Swift?”

Katy publicly responded: “If she says sorry, sure!”

We have a feeling that’s a duet we could be waiting a loooooong time for…

When Katy was first suggested in the press as the subject of ‘Bad Blood’ (which, incidentally, has never actually been confirmed by Taylor), she compared her to ‘Mean Girls’ Queen Bee Regina George, tweeting at the time: “Beware of the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”

More recently, she had a perfect low-key response when Calvin Harris called out Taylor on social media, when he accused her of trying to make him look bad and explicitly naming Katy as a celeb his ex has attempted to “bury” in the past.
