Brett Loubser is the CEO of WeChat Africa Services. He has been working in the mobile industry since 1997, and has worked for a number of mobile companies including Nokia, MTN and Samsung electronics. He joined WeChat in 2013 and during his tenure, the company has been responsible for a number of innovative and ground breaking work including the new mobile payment platform, WeChat Wallet which enables users to send money to family and friends, pay at any of the 30,000 SnapScan merchants and buy airtime and electricity from the app WeChat.
