Slam dunk.

Never mind the talented (and not so talented) wannabes taking to the stage on this year’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, Ant McPartlin managed to steal the show during Saturday’s last round of auditions.

The Geordie star, who presents the ITV talent show with his sidekick Declan Donnelly, left the judges - and us - open-mouthed after he nailed a jaw-dropping basketball trick.

After basketball act the Dunking Devils impressed with their acrobatic skills, Ant decided to get involved in the slam dunk action.

While standing in his usual spot at the side behind the curtain, Ant tossed the basketball across the entire stage to the net on the other side.

And, against all odds, the ball went through the hoop!

No one was more surprised than Ant himself, who started running round the stage, screaming ‘YES!’.

All four judges, Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams looked on in awe, asking: "How did he do that?"

Simon Cowell added: "How annoying is that?”

Not annoying Simon, impressive. Seriously impressive.

‘Britain's Got Talent’ returns for the first live shows of this series on ITV tonight at 8pm.
