‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: Phil Mitchell Could Be A Good Dad To Denise’s Baby, Declares Steve McFadden

Steve McFadden has given his verdict on one of his current ‘EastEnders’ storylines, insisting that Phil Mitchell could be a good dad to Denise Fox’s baby.

Denise recently discovered that she’s pregnant with Phil’s baby following a one-night stand, and while he’s yet to find out that he’s going to be a father again, Steve said he reckons he could be up to the challenge, despite his current health problems.

Speaking to Digital Spy, he explained: “I think he’s got the potential to be good to all the children, in some ways, and occasionally he does get it right.

“What I feel about him is that he does the wrong thing but for the right reason. Behind what he does, he’s a good-hearted man, so he’ll do something terrible, but in his rationale, it makes sense.

“And so, it’s never born of maliciousness or some kind of unpleasantness. It’s often a mistake that he does something bad.

“He does do it for the right reason. As long as what he thinks is right at that moment for his nearest and dearest.”

Hmmm. We’ll have to wait and see on this one.

There’s a lot going on in Walford at the moment, and unless you’ve been living under a rock then you’ll probably know a lot of characters are about to depart.

Two of them are Mitchell family staples, and rumour has it, they’re being killed off in a huge festive storyline. Don’t panic though - it’s not Phil. Phew.
