Fans Pay Nearly $400 To Take Painfully Awkward Photo With Avril Lavigne

If fans at Avril Lavigne's meet and greet in Brazil were expecting a hug or handshake from the singer, they were out of luck.

According to Brazilian news site Cifra Club, the meet and greet cost Lavigne's admirers 800 Brazilian reais, or about $360 U.S. dollars. When fans arrived, they were told by security that they could not have any physical contact with the "Hello Kitty" singer.
