The overarching theme of this blog is to show that better use of the skills and creativity of the UK advertising and communications sector would benefit society as a whole as well as business... But even I admit that, with all the creativity in the world, none of us could stop the floods which have dominated our media landscape.
It seems that Brawn is relishing the chance to take advantage of some leisure time after several decades of toil, tumult and success in Formula 1. Having won two titles while at Benetton, Brawn followed 7-time world champion Michael Schumacher to Ferrari secure another five titles with the Italian carmaker.
In my eyes, the move is too risky. I've said it many times before but 2014 will be a lottery in terms of who will be on top. I'm going with Renault because they seem to be the only engine manufacturer who have made progress, and with them looking to supply less teams in 2014, the demand will be fierce.
