Jude Law's Set To Become A Dad Again - And The Mother Is Revealed

Hollywood star Jude Law is to become a dad for the fourth time after getting an American actress and model knocked up.

Jude was said to be "stunned" after a brief fling with Samantha Burke last Christmas resulted in pregnancy. Doesn't he know what causes it?

The "Sherlock Holmes" star already has three children, Rafferty, 12, Iris, eight, and Rudy, six, with ex-wife Sadie Frost.

This isn't the first time his libido has landed him in a spot of bother.

He split up with Sadie back in 2003 and took up with actress Sienna Miller. They were engaged to be married until it emerged Jude had cheated on Sienna with his children's nanny. Classy.

Now his "Christmas fling" is believed to be expecting a girl on October 6 and plans to call her Sophia.

Jude says he is not with Burke, 24, any more but plans to support the child and play a part in its life.

The Sun newspaper says a "big-shot lawyer" is preparing to make sure the mother and baby are looked after financially for life.

His spokesperson said: "Following a relationship last year, Jude Law has been advised by the birth mother that he is to be the father of a child due in the autumn of this year.

"He is no longer in a relationship with her but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life.

"This is an entirely private matter and no further statements will be made."

Lawyers for Burke, originally from Florida but now living in New Jersey, were reported as saying: "Ms Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr Law and that she has informed Mr Law that she is expecting his child.

"Since informing Mr Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive."

Jude is 36 and single, although he was recently linked to Cameron Diaz.

He's currently starring in the title role in the Donmar West End's production of Hamlet, which will go to Broadway this autumn.

He broke the news to Sadie and their children earlier this week. I bet that was an interesting conversation.
