A recent news story suggested that many mums tie themselves up in knots over what to wear when doing the school run. My reaction to this was disbelief - really, who gives a stuff what you wear when you're delivering the offspring to their place of education. Does it really matter?
Well, it seems that this matters very much to a lot of people, so maybe I am the one who's out of step. New research by drinks manufacturer Fruit Shoot of 2,000 mums reveals that over half (61 of those surveyed saying the ideal stress-busting solution would be to walk or cycle their children to school. Emma continues, "To reduce stress levels, try introducing light exercise or even new activities such as skateboarding or scooting into the school run. On the surface, it might seem a stressful prospect but getting kids to try out new skills will help to release endorphins, putting them in a positive frame of mind for the day ahead."
