Hello and welcome to our weekly snapshot of the best of the parent blogging world.
This week I spent a couple of days at the local children's hospital. Not for anything serious, but still two trips too many. But sometimes it takes you to spend some quiet time with your child, away from the internet and other distractions, to remember what's really important in life.
Children's health being top of the list. That was also apparent here on ParentDish this week, where many of you were touched by the story of the little boy with cancer who's receiving Christmas cards from all around the world.
Also this week, we went cooking with Fay Ripley, got all touchy feely with JLS, and had a marvellous game of Hide the Wii amongst ourselves. You can always rely on the Mumiverse to lighten the mood, and this week was no exception.
Moaning Mum kept me entertained with the exciting adventures of her worn out beige bra, and why she'd make a good burglar. Resourcefulness personified, that woman.
Spare a thought for A Tired Mummy's Blog, who complains of being held prisoner by potty training. At least you were still able to blog - that's progress for you.
And The Life of the 20Something Mum found herself at a stage in parenthood that we all recognise - the I'm Going Slightly Mad stage. Happens to the best of us. Soon to be followed by the I've Gone Even More Mad stage, then the What Happened To Meee? stage, finally ending up at the Ah Well, There's Always Gin stage. Repeat on a loop until your children have left home.
