The stepfather of a two-year-old boy who was discovered to contain 50 sewing needles has been arrested. The boy is currently in intensive care after doctors discovered that needles had been inserted into his body, puncturing areas like the liver and kidney, by the boy's stepfather.
We broke the story of the boy's condition yesterday, and the stepfather has since confessed to the crime, claiming his mistress made him do it.
The man, Roberto Carlos Magalhaes from Brazil, stated that his mistress instructed him to carry out the "black magic" ritual in order to kill the boy as an act of revenge on his wife.
The boy's condition was said to have improved, although some of the needles will not be removed as they're inserted into vital organs.
