A woman gave birth on an international flight, and then apparently tried to flush the child down the airplane toilet.
The unmarried Indian woman left the baby in the toilet, and Turkmenistan Airlines later discovered it when going through the cabin after the passengers had left. The whole toilet had to be removed with the baby inside in order to take it to hospital.
Surgeons cut the toilet away, and the baby is now in critical condition at Amristsar's Fortis Escorts Hospital.

The mother, who is reported to be around 25 years old, was arrested in the airport, and admitted to the hospital. She is currently in a stable condition.
