Katona Love Split: Star 'Relieved' At Break Up

Kerry Katona has split from her painter and decorator boyfriend and declared that far from being sad about the break, she is 'relieved'.

Speaking to a Sunday newspaper, Kerry, 29, said that she did not love 33-year-old Adam Waldron, and that her life had 'changed' and she no longer 'had room for a man in it'. The bankrupt star also claimed she could not afford the petrol costs of driving from her new Surrey home to Cheshire to see him.

Kerry had been dating Adam since May this year, after leaving second husband Mark Croft, father of two of her four children.

Meanwhile, despite having exchanged a very public war of words over their children, Kerry's first husband, Brian McFadden, was seen enjoying the sunshine in her garden as he dropped off their daughters Molly, eight, and seven-year-old Lily Sue from a break with him in Los Angeles.

In a rare show of civility, he and Kerry were spotted chatting and drinking as Molly and Lily Sue played around them. Earlier this year, Brian had branded Kerry a 'pig-faced mole' living in a 'fantasy world' after she accused him of barely speaking to his daughters. He was also said to be furious that she had used the girls like 'pawns' in her recent TV documentary, 'Kerry & Me'.

What do you think? Do celebrity kids become pawns in their parents' career games?
