MAKEUP: José Bass for Organic Glam

HAIR: Bill Watson for Toni & Guy

THE SCOOP: Bora Aksu was inspired by Oscar Wilde's story The Happy Prince for his s/s 2010 collection, and wanted to show the darkness behind the façade of pure gold. "I wanted to hide the beauty behind the shadows," the designer explained backstage. Hairstylist Watson took the Pre-Raphaelites as his main reference point. "We wanted to keep it peasanty and earthy and keep the hair natural and beautiful, like the clothes."

Makeup artist Bass described the makeup aesthetic as "beautifully sculptured and contoured. Imagine a candlelit room, and that's what we tried to do with the makeup. We built up the shadows you would naturally get. It's suitable with the textures in the clothes, but it's really about being natural."

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: The key product for the natural look is Organic Glam's bronzer. Also, Bass played with texture by dabbing a touch of pink on the lips and under the eye.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Hair was braided through the front to create the romantic, natural look. Watson and his team used Toni & Guy's Label M Seasalt Spray, followed by Label M Volume Mousse.

GET THE LOOK - NAILS: Nails were kept au natural and polish-free.
