THE SCOOP: From Sofia Coppola's first feature film, Virgin Suicides, to the groovy 70s and the big-haired 80s, designer Emma Hill's inspirations for Mulberry's s/s 2010 collection were as varied as they were creative. And they definitely inspired some wildly original beauty. The standout was the hair, the mile high, voluminous, crimped hair. "I turned the models into gypsy creatures with very big hair, said Mcknight. "It was a really fun look to create." Fanhoff kept the makeup very simple, focusing on wide, innocent eyes and a healthy glow to underscore the youthful vibe.
GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by MAC. For the eyes, apply mascara only on the top lashes, line the inner lids with white eyeliner to open them up, and dust on a little taupe eye shadow to shade under the eye. Cheeks and lips got a wash of peachy pink, thanks to Liliscent Blushcreme and Tender-Tone Tinted Lip Balm.
GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Crimp hair and then lightly backcomb at the roots with a small comb to create initial volume. For a big, fuzzy look, tease with Mason Pearson Bristle Brush while dousing strands with hair spray.
