William Tempest A/W 2010: Backstage At London Fashion Week

MAKEUP: Lan Nguyen for Benefit

HAIR: Tim Furssedonn for label.m

SNAPSHOT: Queen of Sheeba

THE SCOOP: Inspiration for William Tempest's a/w 2010 show came from the Middle East, so the makeup and hair looks were vibrant and architectural. Nguyen and Furrsedonn both named the Queen of Sheeba as the main influence behind their styles for the show. Nguyen said she drew inspiration from "the Mediterranean", and used bright colours and shimmers to create an '"Islamic feel". Furrsedonn described the hair as 'luxurious and sculptural'. He created strong quiffs to add structure and dimension.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: Nguyen used Moon Doggie Lust Duster and a mermaid shade shadow to add a colourful shimmer to the eyelid. For a luxurious Middle Eastern feel, Goldilocks and Big Daddy Lust Dusters were used underneath the lower lash line, along with Baby Cake Eyeliner in the outer corner to add definition. The face was kept clean and fresh, and the lips were covered in a light pink gloss for added colour.

GET THE LOOK HAIR: Furssedonn's key products were Volume Mousse, Blow Out Spray and Wax Stick, which he used to keep his architectural styles in place. After scraping the hair into quiffs, he curled the pony-tails to add volume and bounce to the otherwise rigid style.
