Holly Willoughby has announced she is expecting her second baby.

Co-presenting with Phillip Schofield on ITV's This Morning programme earlier today, Holly, 29, revealed that she was twelve weeks pregnant, telling viewers: 'It's a relief [to be back] because I can finally say the lovely news that Dan and I are expecting another baby.'

Holly - who is mum to 18-month-old Harry James - also posted a message on her website confirming that she and husband Dan were expecting their new arrival early next year:

'Dan and I are absolutely thrilled to be expecting our second child, due next May. We can't wait for Harry to have a brother or sister.'

Friends and fans were quick to congratulate Holly via her Twitter feed, with celeb chum Amanda Holden firing off a Tweet saying: X'Hoorah!! For Holly Wills! Up the duff!'

Holly had already hinted at her news via Twitter earlier in the day, writing: 'So, we are back from half term and you may want to tune in (to This Morning)... I've got something to say xxx'

Holly said she had only suffered a 'couple' of days of morning sickness so far, and was looking forward to presenting this year's Dancing on Ice with a huge baby bump, joking 'I'm going to be huge and fat and big again!'
