Despite not yet having her own child, Natalie Cassidy has lashed out at fellow entertainer Denise Van Outen for returning to work too soon after having her baby, Betsy.
Speaking to New! magazine, Natalie, whose own baby is due next month, said: 'Denise van Outen went back to work after two weeks because she said she needed to feel normal again. I just think, "What have you had a child for? Having a child should be your job".
Natalie brands herself 'old fashioned' and says her thoughts and views on parenting are very much 'her mum' coming out in her.
Her comments come just days after Denise Van Outen, 36, said that she will be employing a full time nanny to look after Betsy when she returns to the West End stage.
