Samantha Cameron Is Pregnant With Her Fourth Child

Samantha Cameron, wife to Conservative leader and possible future Prime Minister David Cameron, has confirmed that she is expecting her fourth child in September. The announcement was made through the Conservative Party, who stated that the couple are "completely thrilled" with the news.

The child will be the Camerons' fourth child and comes after the sad loss of their oldest son, Ivan, early last year, who suffered with a rare combination of cerebral palsy and a form of severe epilepsy called Ohtahara syndrome. They also have a daughter, Nancy, six, and son Elwen, four.

Should David become the next Prime Minister, he will follow in the footsteps of Tony Blair who also became a father for the fourth time whilst living at number ten.

New parenthood is likely to help David in his campaign too, as a lot of the emphasis for policies is on family life.

Samantha has been very public in her support for her husband, and recently conducted a TV interview which resulted in an increase in poll results for the conservative party. Sadly this increased publicity also led to several revealing photos of Samantha resurfacing from over a decade ago.

David has been vocal about his desire to add to his family for some time, even confessing to feeling broody last December when visiting a maternity ward.
