Wedding Makeup Tips

'Use a moisturiser that will prepare the skin for makeup,' advises Bobbi. 'Avoid sunblocks and suncreens that can give a 'flash off' to makeup. They reflect too much light under flash photography, resulting in an over exposed shot.'

Wedding Makeup Tips

If you've got a tendency towards getting a bit rosy (alcohol, nerves), flash photography will only bring out the pink tones further, so 'be sure to even out skin with a yellow-toned foundation,' says Bobbi.

Wedding Makeup Tips

Want to avoid shine? Bobbi says: 'Set concealer and foundation with Sheer Finish Loose Powder to make them longer-lasting and to ensure that skin looks matte in pictures.'

Wedding Makeup Tips

There's nothing worse than having a complexion that's a totally different shade to your decolletage, says Bobbi. 'If your dress has an open neckline, be sure to warm up your neck and chest with a dusting of bronzing powder.'

Wedding Makeup Tips

You know, we know, everyone knows that it's highly likely emotions will run high and you'll spill a few happy tears. 'Choose water-resistant eye makeup formulas like Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner and No Smudge Mascara,' advises Bobbi, and then you'll avoid the possibility of panda eyes. For extra eyelash oomph, make like Cheryl Cole and wear a set of falsies for the day. Our advice? Get an expert to apply them.

Wedding Makeup Tips

Even if you're not used to doing it on a daily basis, it's important you ensure your brows aren't left 'undone', as definition really shapes your face. Bobbi's bit of brow wisdom? 'Define brows with a soft matte shadow that matches the hair colour.'

Wedding Makeup Tips

After applying all your eye makeup, finish with a highlighter shade on the brow bone to make eyes pop. Rub your finger in a light matte shade, and pat lightly on the outer corner of the brow bone.

Wedding Makeup Tips

Bobbi's top tip for the perfect stay-all-day blush? Two hues. 'For a pretty flush that lasts, use two shades of blush: a neutral shade and a brighter shade applied just on the apples of the cheeks,' she explains.

Wedding Makeup Tips

Bobbi suggests avoiding a barely-there pout on your big day. 'Neutral and pale lip colours look washed out in photographs, so choose brighter shades of pink, rose and plum.'

Wedding Makeup Tips

'To make lipstick and lip gloss last longer, line and fill in lips with lip pencil before applying colour,' advises Bobbi. Just don't, whatever you do, line your lips and forget to fill them in!
