Online Bargains: Ebay Branches Out Into Outlet Stores

Online Bargains: Ebay Branches Out Into Outlet Stores

Regular visitors to auction website eBay may have noticed a few changes in the last few months. The site has made something of a move away from their usual bidding options, and now offers a selection of special Daily Deals and a series of high street outlet stores.

The Daily Deals section has recently offered bargains on items such as sports clothing for children, digital cameras, jewellery and iPods. If you're signed up for ebay updates you'll probably have spotted these bargains in your daily e-newsletters.

However, the new area of ebay I'm excited about is the outlet stores, featuring stock from Debenhams, Tesco, Littlewoods and Argos.

Here are a few of my favourite bargains from this new section for parents.

AA Mums Essential Kit, Tesco Outlet store , £4.97

This essential driving kit for mums is hardly what you'd call an exciting purchase, but you'll definitely appreciate the waterproof poncho, dynamo torch, sunscreen, emergency blanket, playing cards, glow band and hand warmer if you end up breaking down somewhere during the upcoming bank holiday.

Following on with the bank holiday theme, Argos are offering this car activity set to keep the kids busy whilst you argue with the Satnav on the way to the grandparents. This set was originally £16.99, so it's a huge discount.

La Redoute Pack of 3 Baby Boy's Interlock Pyjamas, La Redoute Outlet Store, £4

La Redoute has some bargains when it comes to baby and kids clothing, including this set of three pyjamas for baby boys. It used to be £10, so that's a discount of over 50%.
