As the wedding of the century, it's only natural that the tiniest of details from Friday's royal wedding are still being scrutinised - from the bride and bridesmaid's jewellery, to the evening reception outfits, and everything in between.

Now under the spotlight? The perfume that the bride chose for her big day.

According to fragrance industry insiders, Kate walked down the red carpet wearing White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum - a relatively unknown British brand.

A description on the Illuminum website describes the "delicate and refined" scent as being "as fragrant as a vase of flowers, quivering in the breeze by an open window."

Poetic, no?

The perfume contanis floral topnotes of Lily, a heart of White Gardenia, Muguet and Jasmine, and basenotes of Amber Wood, and is available to buy online at rouillierwhite.com, for £70.
