PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Daniel Craig has spoken out about his marriage to Rachel Weisz, revealing he made it his mission to keep it a secret.

The James Bond star married the Oscar-winning actress last month, and, asked about the big day during a press junket for new movie Cowboys & Aliens, Craig confirmed he had made every effort to keep it under wraps.

According to the Toronto Sun, Craig said: "I did it secretly - I can't tell you how I pulled it off... My private life is incredibly important to me, and certainly that aspect of it is more than incredibly important to me."

The British couple married in New York, with only Craig's teenage daughter Ella, Weisz's five-year-old son Henry and two family friends as guests.

Craig, 43, and Weisz, 41, began dating after they met making upcoming film Dream House in which they play husband and wife.
