While this may have been the season that embraced understated luxury, there was still plenty of room for the sex siren: vampy dressing was all over the catwalks at Christopher Kane, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana. Bodycon silhouettes, sheer fabrics and plenty of leather-and-lace combinations all spell Seductress with a capital 'S.' And since leather and lace are always in fashion, you probably have the basics to rock the trend in your wardrobe already.

The key to making this look work is to mix the fierce with the feminine: the basic LBD gets a peek-a-boo cutout or tough leather is softened with florals and lace. Black is de rigeur, by day or night, and accessories are key: gloves, stilettos and statement jewellery all make a vixen.

A word of warning: beware not to go too OTT. Sheer everything is always more tramp than vamp.,feedConfig,localizationConfig,entry&id=948289&pid=948288&uts=1288189636
