The latest edition of the Guinness World Records book has just been published, and as you might expect it features a wealth of strange, fascinating and arguably pointless records within its pages.
The 2012 edition of the book, which is now in its 57th year, includes such illustrious record holders as Rob Hull, owner of the world's largest collection of Daleks (571), Christine 'the Duchess' Walton and her record-breaking finger nail (10 foot 2 inches) and the owner of the world's largest afro.
Other records featured in the weighty tome range from the world's most pierced man, the longest tongue and the world's fastest wedding chapel, alongside the usual selection of quickest, largest and strongest animals, humans and machines.
