Who is investigating the police? The police have sat on this investigation for years.

Was there an internal police cover up?

Is there any investigation as to why this was not pursued further?

When will the public know who was responsible for the previous investigation (or lack there of) and if they are still involved with the current investigation?

So what's more worrying? The fact that the Met appear to want to cynically subvert a basic freedom of the press, or the fact that they are so stupid that they can't identify when they're about to walk in front of another PR bus?

We hear about them paying massive amounts to PR guys (including at one point an ex NotW journo.
What are they paying them for???
Anyone with half a brain cell should have known this would be a massive shot in the foot
