MAKEUP: Andrew Gallimore, Key Makeup Artist for Mac

HAIR: Charles Worthington, for Charles Worthington

SNAPSHOT: Pretty and polished.

THE SCOOP: Inspired by the movie In the Mood for Love by Wong Kar-Wai, Gallimore wanted to create a girly and feminine look that was super chic.

GET THE LOOK MAKEUP: Gallimore first used Mac's Face & Body foundation, avoiding the cheeks, adding Studio Finish Concealer over blemishes. Cheeks were dabbed with Mac's Tendertones in Hot 'N' Saucy for a tinted dewy finish, and "rosy glow." Brows were combed upwards for what Gallimore described as a "boyish" look, with Mac's Mink pencil lightly defining them. Paw Paw balm was applied to the eyelids with Plush Lash mascara, giving the effect of "last nights makeup." Next Scarlett Ibis Lipstick was lightly dabbed onto the centre of the lips so that the makeup resembled more of a "stain." Pro Basic Red Pigment was then applied with Pro Vellum Eye Shadow Pro Palette added to the Cupid's bow to finish the look.

GET THE LOOK HAIR: Worthington wanted hair to look "effortless and swishy." Hair was fixed into a ponytail, two fingers width below the crown for that not too low/not too high look. Front Row Volumising Spray was applied to the roots, giving a "glamorous" matte feel to the hair. Heat Protection Spray was also used for to protect the hair. Strands were then pulled out of the style to add softness around the face.
