Matthew Perry Sitcom Correctly Predicted Gaddafi's Death In 1987

A clip from a 1987 sitcom starring Matthew Perry has caused a stir online by apparently correctly predicting the death of Muammar Gaddafi.

In the show, set in 2011, a man named Charles dies and goes to heaven where he meets St. Peter. Judged to be neither good nor bad enough to go to heaven or hell he is sent back to Earth to live his live over again as a teenager, played by Perry.

In the pilot, before Charles arrives two people meet St. Peter before he does. The first is nice enough to get in to heaven. The second to arrive is Colonel Gaddafi, who is wearing an army uniform spotted with bullet hoes - and isn't so lucky.

"Dead? It is impossible for me to be dead," Gaddafi says, before he is sent to hell.

Take a look at the scene, above. The show may have fallen into obscurity, but this weird coincidence means this clip at least will live on in Internet lore for ever.

(Fast forward to 2 minutes 20 seconds for the good stuff).
