A baby born on 11/11/11, the Skyrim release date, has won free games for life from the maker, Bethesda.
The baby named Dovahkiin, after the game's lead character, was born to Jade and Trevor Kellermeyer according to its parents' blog.
Besides the free games, the child will inherent his own theme song, and the joy of having to spell out his name to everyone he ever meets. For. Ever.
In the Elder Scrolls language, the name means "one born with the soul of a dragon".
Jade Kellermeyer said she wasn't motivated by the free games in naming her son, but simply loved the name: "We’ve toyed with Dovahkiin and the ramifications of naming a child that name, and that name being based on a video game character (however awesome), and what impact that would have on him. But the more I thought of it, the more I settled on Dovahkiin, contest or no."
Joystiq reported the baby naming contest back in February, detailing the prize as a steam key that gives access to all Bethesda games.
