Politicians Singing And Dancing, Almost Always Embarrassing - VIDEO

VIDEO: Please DO Stop The Music. Politicians With Rhythm In Their Souls

As the TUC releases their "Let's Work Together" song ahead of the co-ordinated day of strikes next week, Huffpost began wondering if politics and music should ever mix.

A brief trawl of YouTube suggests the answer is no. Or to simultaneously quote Margaret Thatcher and the late Amy Winehouse, "No, No, No."

Even when politicians don't themselves sing, any use of music gets them into trouble. Theresa May's use of the Dandy Warhols to wrap up her campaign speech was the start of a string of difficulty for the Home Secretary - six weeks later and she's still reeling from crisis to crisis.

And is John Hemming's, er, quirky reputation really enhanced by this song, freely available on Amazon?

We've only been able to think of one example of music really working out for a politician, and that was President Clinton. Any other suggestions, good or bad? Feel free to post them below.
