Silvio Berlusconi has released an album of love songs just in time for Christmas. The former prime minister, and cruise ship crooner, has penned a numer of ballad singles for Mariana Apicella who is now considered by many as Berlusconi's personal song-bird.

Titled 'True Love' the billionaire businessman, turned football club owner, turned media mogul, recently left his latest role as disgraced politician.

Italy's economic woes had previously forced him to delay its release and despite his legendary singing not featuring in any of the tracks, they are likely to be a Youtube sensation. To get a flavour of what to expect, listen to this catchy number, released in 2008.

bravo i think singing is his real passion not hookers plus if your a singing star you dont have to pay as much unless your charlie sheen .

Doesn't the mere sound of his voice make you want to puke ?

The man is deluded - does he not know the hookers are only interested in his $$$ not his singing ?

He would have been better to have focused on what he was elected to do.
