Far from being captivated by the charismatic Michael Gove and hanging onto his every word with baited breath, these students from Haberdashers' Aske's Foundation in Lewisham, seem to be slightly bored.
"It's a pleasure", Gove added. A feeling which was clearly reciprocated by the students in the hall.
"My sympathies to those in Year Six", the secretary of state for education told his audience, "whose lessons I've observed and who now, I suppose as a form of punishment, have to listen to me."
