Wayne Rooney Shows Off Results Of Hair Transplant

Money Well Spent

Wayne Rooney can rest safe at night knowing the small fortune he spent on his hair transplant has had the desired effect.

We never had him down as a metrosexual type, but it looks like Wayne is experimenting with his look as his luscious locks get longer.

The Manchester United player was freshly coiffed as he stepped out with wife Coleen in London last night, sporting the beginnings of a side parting.

The pair were enjoying a night at the theatre, watching the West End production of Oliver, braving the plummeting temperatures.

Well at least now Wayne has something to keep his little head warm.

He had the rumoured £30,000 procedure last year in an effort to stop his rapid balding.

After having the transplant, Wayne said he was "delighted" with the result, despite being able to see little effect immediately.

At the time he took to Twitter saying: "Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25, why not? I'm delighted with the result."

As he showed off his new look last night, he was also joined by ex-Man United team mate Darron Gibson.

The pair probably shared a few celebratory drinks after Darron, who now plays for Everton, scored the winning goal against Wayne's rival team Manchester City on Tuesday's Premier League match.

Wayne tweeted his pal after their victory saying: "Yeeeeeeesssssssss gibbo. Love u kid."

That's the last time we ever write about football - promise.
