Poor Harry Styles' year is going from bad to worse following his split from Caroline Flack - he has now been ordered to rest by doctors after putting his back out.

The 18-year-old, who parted ways from Xtra Factor host Caroline last month, has thrown himself into promotional duties with One Direction to help his heartache.

But it's looking like he may have to skip a few appearances after he hurt his back.

Harry reveals a doctor has told him to take part in regular Pilates classes to help aid his recovery.

Speaking to The Sun, he says: "I have bad posture and I've been told to take Pilates once a week."

And he's not the only accident-prone One Direction member. Bandmate Niall Horan adds: "I dislocated my knee playing football one time. When I got checked by the specialist I was told I've got a 67% chance of walking down the street and my knee dislocating itself."

Very specific that.
