Primary School Children Discussing Porn Website Redtube Renew Concerns Over Internet Safety

Primary school children have raised concerns amongst parents and teachers after they were caught discussing a pornographic website at school, shortly after the European Union's Safer Internet Day.

According to one parent at Hartbury Primary School, Gloucestershire, her seven-year-old daughter was asked by another pupil if she "knew about Redtube", an adult website, The Citizen reported.

Gemma Dongworth told the local paper she raised her concerns with the school after another parent said she had been asked by her son to look at the site at home.

The mother, who wished to remain anonymous, said she was "shocked and disgusted" children might have accessed the site.

Headteacher William Greenwood has since alerted parents to check their internet filters but added he was "concerned" the children even know of the website's existence, although Redtube was not actually accessed at the primary school.

Gloucestershire County Council said it provided help to schools via an ICT package which could be purchased from the council.

A recent report raised fears for children's internet safety after a survey revealed that 61% of parents failed to set adequate online controls or did not have filters in place to keep their children safe, according to Ofcom.

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop) provides material encouraging parents to develop their skills in the online world, in order to mark European Safer Internet Day 2012.

I'm not surprised. This can only be the 'sick' idea of Professional Paedophiles, who have infiltrated onto the Education Board. The same can be said about homosexuals infiltrating into Parliament..Quote:Ken Livingstone said," The present Government is riddled with Homosexuals".Unquote..In case you're worried,it wouldn't surprise me if the Government makes paedophilia legal too.If you need to know who a homosexual is,juse switch over to the BBC...Great Britain continues to degrade and demoralise itself.
