Amanda Holden Flaunts Her Post-Baby Body At The 'BGT' Auditions, But This Will Be Her Last Series For A While

It's hard to believe that just a few weeks ago not only did Amanda Holden stare death in the face but also gave birth to another human being - not that you'd notice.

The star looked better than ever as she flaunted her post-baby body in a stunning red bandeau dress for the latest round of auditions for Britain's Got Talent in Birmingham.

Amanda had to stay in hospital for more than a week after giving birth to her daughter Hollie Rose when complications left the star in a critical condition.

And it seems the experience has led to the TV star changing her priorities as she's to take an extended break after the latest series of BGT.

A source told The People: "After this series Amanda will be taking an extended break from everything showbiz. She has decided family comes first.

"She loves doing Britain's Got Talent but she will just be spending time with Chris and the girls."

Meanwhile, Amanda was among the winners at this weekend's Whatsonstage.com Awards where she was crowned Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Princess Fiona in Shrek The Musical. She was presented with her award by Simon Cowell backstage at the Britain's Got Talent auditions.

Sorry Amanda your dress and shoe sense is terrible - you may have got your figure back but do dress according dear, and less of the black bra showing. I would stay at home and be with your children and let them know they do have a Mummy.

The shoes OK if worn with a say black and white dress. They seemed out of place with that red dress.

After all she went through to have a baby, then poorly when it arrived, and first thing she does ....
she goes back to work !!!!!! Is being in the lime-light more important I wonder..........

Wow, lots of envy and nastiness inspired by this little snippet! It's a harmless piece of "puff" about a relatively attractive and pleasant enough woman who's in the limelight and public domain. She's very successful, she seems happy despite a few upsets in her life and a terrible experience recently. I read the article ergo I have no complaints about its composition. If I found her or information about her annoying I would simply have elected not to read it. I can't get excited about it one way or the other I am saving my vitriol and rage for matters that really get up my nose. The NHS reforms, the ECHR decisions, Ed Balls, The Lib/Dems, Bankers' bonusses all take preference in my anger chart over sweet little Amanda Holden.

All the negative talk is a waste of time. Forget what happened in the past cos you were not there and only assume you know what the crack was. She's had a bad time and come through it so drop your
crap comments and leave her be. The woman lost a baby, had the guts to try again and nearly died. Would you have the bottle to try again? Top marks to the lady and well done to Amanda and her family.

I am writing this as someone who doesn't watch BGT and I have no strong feelings about Amanda. She did not appear to put on lots of weight while she was pregnant and therefore probably didn't have much to lose. I have had 4 children and only put on 3lbs with the last as I was sick for the whole 9 months. I had a very healthy 8lb 2 oz baby and could get in my jeans a week after. Personally, I wouldn't have gone back to work so quickly, but that is her choice and we woman should be able to do as we wish without everyone jumping on us. She probably isn't getting as much sleep as she would normally have so would be expected to look slightly under par but I think she looks great.
