Continuing to show her support for Britain's art scene, The Duchess of Cambridge will visit one of her charities today to see first hand how learning to paint and draw is helping children with behavioural problems.
Kate is patron of The Art Room and will tour two schools in Oxford where the organisation works helping youngsters with a range of issues.
The charity maintains a dedicated art room in four secondary and primary schools in the city and one in Islington, London - running sessions from one to four days a week - and also works with a further 22 schools.
It uses art therapy to help children with issues like low self esteem and Asperger's syndrome.
The visit follows the Duchess's first solo visit this month to see Lucian Freud Portraits at the National Portrait Gallery, where she is also a patron.
Whilst visiting Rose Hill Primary School in Oxford, Kate will join eight children who will be working on The Owl And The Pussycat, the poem by Edward Lear.
The piece is regularly used to aid discussions on travel, relationships and fantasy, and is seen as a good way of getting the children to talk.
During the event the youngsters will paint part of the story on canvas as the royal watches.
She might even be able to offer some tips - Kate obtained a degree in History of Art at University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland where she met Prince William.
