The only successful remake of an early TV show was the first "Superman" with Chris Reeves. And maybe "Dark Knight". Every other attempt by Hollywood to capture the magic of those early shows has been dismal...I'm truly dreading how Bruckheimer will massacre this icon...

The Superman and Batman films weren't remakes/updates of the TV shows, dippy.

Oh...I thought when you make a version of a show that existed earlier it is called a remake. My mistake.

I grew up in the era when westerns starred Italian actors in long black hair as NA's. Boy did I grow up getting seriously turned on by that look. I still, 50 years later, adore long black hair on a guy. (Going to have to cold shower shortly if I don't stop thinking about it!) I have since grown to love watching NA actors in films and shows I've seen them in. Wow, am I ethnically confused! Just loving that hair!

Looks like it's a spoof to me, all the more reason authenticity would be a no-no.
