If this man isn't a poster candidate for the death penalty, what will it take? With all the witneses, he should be given 30 days to appeal if found guilty, then gases,or whatever. Personally, I think it should be cruel an inhuman when they exicute them. I doubt very few victims ever receive mercy.

I agree. Quotes from the other article:

Oakland Police Chief Howard Jordan said: "The suspect was upset with the administration at the school. He was also upset that students in the past, when he attended the school, mistreated him, disrespected him, and things of that nature.
They disrespected him, laughed at him. They made fun of his lack of English speaking skills. It made him feel isolated compared to the other students. He was having, we believe, some behavioural problems at the school. This was a very chaotic, calculated and determined gentleman that came there with a very specific intent to kill people."

One former student said Goh had "seemed kind of weird and that he wasn't all there, and people would pick on him."

Yea, my teacher spanked me when I was on 5th grade. I guess it is time for me to grab a gun and starting shooting randomly to everyone whom I see too. I am sick of people giving excuse to a mass murderer.

You weren't bullied by your teacher, what you got was probably punishment. You have no idea what being bullied feels like. If people smack you around or make fun of you for weeks and months, you'll want to massacre them too. Most victims of bullying don't act out their impulses, but this guy lost every thing in his life. He had little left to lose. I'm not making excuses for him, just saying don't be surprised if victims of bullying retaliate. If you are not involved, stay clear of the bullies.

He looks like a mexican with an epicanthic fold . This fella looks youthful. He could well live until the age of 102 like they do in KR.

He must be a puny man inside with no resiliency who committed a very selfish act.

I was wondering why it's on Huff Po's UK site, why not in the US?

If the school was anything but a Christian religious affiliation, it would be.

Lets take a few guess...

- 7 individuals murdered is no longer news worthy.
- The school was a gun-free zone, and it didn't make anyone safer.
- California has some of the toughest gun laws...

Personally, I think the attention span of the media is just getting shorter and shorter.

May the precious souls of this killer's victims rest in peace.
May we all pray for the families and loved ones of the victims, and for the killer's family.
Another very sad story.

The sooner they catch him and execute him the better.

Oh please, California would rather complain about having no money rather than execute even one of the over 700 they have on death row already.

So how much money will it cost to keep 700 inmates on death row for the rest of their lives? One could safely assume it would be cheaper to execute them as they have obviously committed crimes that merited it.

The death penalty in CA means life w/o parole basically, but maybe that's the best punishment for this guy.

Point Taken ! Although folks raised here do not have that kind of rage generally when simpley insulted or rejecttion has taken place. That is more the way of many foriegn countries . This is one of the few countries that proclaim non raciallity .
When you travel to South Korea and a majority of countries, you are an underling, and they are the best over all others.

I thought South Koreans were the good guys and North Koreans were the bad guys. Does anyone have a scorecard?

Doesn't look very bright but then there are a load of dimmos around (look at Parliament). So what turns a weirdo into a mass murder apart from vengeance or jealousy?

I just want to know what goes on inside of the head of such a person. What kind of thinking brings a man to kill 7 other innocent human beings? Was there any reason at all? It mystifies me!
