30 years after The Sweeney set the bar for police drama - with John Thaw as Detective Inspector Regan and Dennis Waterman as his sidekick Carter - it's coming to the big screen.
Ray Winstone, one of the few actors with the necessary heavyweight acting chops, will step into Thaw's shoes, with one Ben Drew - aka the rapper Plan B - joining him in the sidecar.
Adding their gravitas to the cast are Homeland favourite Damian Lewis and Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger).
The Sweeney will be in UK cinemas from 12 September - in the meantime, check out the trailer above.
