Robin Ince Interview: Laugharne Festival 2012

Robin Ince, the comedian you may know as the presenter of BBC Radio’s The Infinite Monkey Cage - or perhaps as one of Ricky Gervais’ many long-suffering chums - is releasing a new book.

Robin Ince's Bad Book Club: One Man's Quest to Uncover the Books That Taste Forgot is the 43-year-old’s account of how, by rummaging around second hand shops in various town and cities in Britain, he unearthed forgotten gems of publishing and spun them into comedy gold.

We caught up with Robin at last weekend’s Laugharne Festival in Wales where he took his Book Club and put in a highly enlightening, part-stand-up-part-science-lecture performance.

Watch the video above to learn more about the Book Club, and catch highlights from the show.

Why not watch a report from Laugharne Weeekend 2012, and an interview with poetry headliner Simon Armitage?
