Tamara Ecclestone was blackmailed for £200,000 by two men who threatened to go to the press with details about her love life.

A court has heard how Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone's eldest daughter turned to the cops in December after her camp received an email demanding the six-figure sum.

Bernie is worth an estimated £2.5b, while 27-year-old reality TV star Tamara lives in a £45m mansion in Kensington, West London.

Derek Rose, 32, and Jakir Uddin, 19, allegedly warned Tamara's agent Dana Malmstrom they would tell all about the brunette beauty's secret relationship unless they got the money.

Prosecutor Tony Connell told the court: "This offence involves a blackmail made by email to Tamara Ecclestone's agent to the sum of £200,000."

The twosome were arrested on 5 April and bailed with a condition that they do not contact either Tamara or Dana.

They are next due in court on 19 June
