Dozens of people have been evacuated from their homes and roads have been closed following a large factory fire.
Leicestershire Police advised people who have been allowed to stay in their houses to keep their doors and windows closed while fire officers tackle the blaze on Frisby Road in Leicester.
The fire was reported around midday today.
A spokesman for the force said the cause of the fire is as yet unknown and no injuries have been reported.
Roads are expected to stay closed for some time and the public are advised to avoid the area unless their journey is essential.
