Peaches Geldof has given birth to a son.
The daughter of former Boomtown Rats front man and poverty campaigner Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates has named her first child Astala.
The model announced the birth on social networking site Twitter, writing: "Yes, its true- I'M A MUMMY!!!!"
She then added: "My little boy is the most beautiful thing in this world. When he holds @tomfromscum's finger with his hand its the sweetest thing ever. X"

Thomas Cohen, Peaches's fiancee and lead singer of band S.C.U.M., is the child's father. He said he was "overcome with joy."
Peaches's publicist Max Dundas confirmed the new arrival, saying: "Peaches and Thomas are delighted to announce the birth of their son Astala. Both were overjoyed at his arrival this week."
