Two men were killed when the car they were in left the road and crashed into some trees, an ambulance service said today.
The accident happened on the A442 between Hodnet and Peplow in Shropshire last night.
Three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic area support officer and a trauma doctor were dispatched after a 999 call at 10.35pm.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival, crews found a car that had been badly damaged after it had collided with some trees.
"Sadly, it quickly became apparent that the two men who had been travelling in the car had died. The doctor and two of the ambulances were stood down.
"There were two other cars at the crash site, both undamaged.
"Ambulance staff checked over the occupants but, although shaken, no-one was hurt."
