Ken Livingstone is heading back to the airwaves just days after his failed bid to become Mayor of London for the fourth time.
He will return to his show, co-hosted with former Conservative cabinet minister David Mellor, on LBC 97.3 on Saturday. Livingstone said: "I can't wait to get back into the studio and my Saturday morning riff with David Mellor."
The former mayor announced he had fought his last election after his defeat to Boris Johnson by a wafer-thin margin of 48.5%-51.5%.
Global Radio's Director of Broadcasting Richard Park said: "After eight years as Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone knows the city and its people inside out. Nobody is better placed to debate the issues that matter to London and we look forward to welcoming him back to LBC 97.3 on Saturday mornings."
