Justin Timberlake Dons Skirt As He Celebrates Wal-Mart's 50th Birthday

Timberlake Celebrates Wal-Mart's 50th In Grass Skirt

Justin Timberlake donned a Hawaiian grass skirt and a lei on his head on Friday as he helped bosses at US retail giant Wal-Mart celebrate the company's 50th birthday.

The pop star and actor took on the role of master of ceremonies for the firm's annual shareholders meeting in Fayetteville, Arkansas and joked around with staff as they marked the anniversary.

Taking to the stage early on Friday at the Bud Walton Arena, Timberlake quipped: "It's 7.20am. That's how Wal-Mart does it? I need to work on my schedule!"

Country stars the Zac Brown Band, Colombian rocker Juanes and a cappella gospel group Take 6 provided the musical entertainment for the event.
