Simon Le Bon has voiced his frustration after his band Duran Duran was left out of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee concert on Monday.

The biggest acts in British music, including Sir Elton John, Annie Lennox and Sir Paul McCartney, took to the stage in front of Buckingham Palace in London to perform for the monarch as she celebrates her 60 years on the throne.

Le Bon took to Twitter.com during the televised show to admit he was "underwhelmed" by the line-up, writing, "Jubilee concert... Well... Gary Barlow, I have to say, I am in the least - underwhelmed... Well, at least we have Sir Paul McCartney's 'willy dance' to look forward to. He is on it, right?"

The Rio singer then blamed British pop star Gary Barlow, who helped organise the event, for snubbing Duran Duran - one of the U.K.'s most successful exports in the 1980s.

He added, "I absolutely wish that DD'd (Duran Duran had) been part of the Jubilee concert. But it was a Gary B booking, and he didn't want us."

However, Le Bon's comments aren't likely to faze Barlow, who boasted on his own Twitter page, "What a night. It's gonna have to be something special to beat that one. Amazing artists and performances. Incredible audience and atmosphere."
