Paris Jackson has opened up in an exclusive interview with Oprah about her father, Michael. The 14-year-old talks about her father's insistence she wore a mask in her younger years as well as the hardship of living without the pop legend in her life.
A preview from the interview, which airs on 10 June, has made its way online.
Almost three years since his death, Paris - who seems so much older than her years - tells Oprah how Michael's absence 'never gets any easier'.
Michael Jackson died almost three years ago after overdosing on a drug called anesthesia propofol. Dr Conrad Murray, the late star's physician, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for his role in administering the drug.
She told Oprah that she once felt confused about being made to wear a mask when she was younger, but says she now understands that it was so her and her siblings "could have a normal childhood".

If you listen to the actual interview the point she is making is that they wore masks when out in public with him so they could go unmasked when out without him. This ensured they could go and do 'normal' things without being mobbed.

Yes indeed. Looks are all important, and having hair and money automatically means you should look gorgeous and hip. Just as having a massive nose makes you instantly able to smell anything and everything ten times better, even if it does block your view of the world. It's a shame we're unable to look right in front of our noses. I've been told there's a lot of logic in that blind spot of ours.

so they could have a normal childhood ? how can being masked/veiled be normal ? & i dont care what others think . but i.ve always said those kids are.nt jacksons biological kids . i see NO resemblances to him in ANY of them . kids usualy have SOME similarity to either/both parent/parents . but i dont see ANY ! just my own view of course . but i.m sure they love & miss him . biological or not . he was the man they knew as dad

I was, like everybody else under the impression Michael was in severe financial trouble before his death, but apparently he had 1.3 billion dollars just in cash alone, which puts the whole theory surrounding his death, down the drain.
I see a resemblance to the woman who claims to be the mother, but maybe he went to the genius sperm bank for the rest of the ingredients.
