World Oceans Day: Ten Places To Love The Sea (PICTURES)

(PICTURES) World Oceans Day

The most beautiful locations in the world rely on the azure backdrop of a deep blue ocean.

That's why on World Oceans Day thousands of people across the globe take action to help conserve them.

In the UK, organisations including the Sea Watch Foundation, the Blue Planet Aquarium in Liverpool and Archipelago Creative in London are taking part - hosting activities designed to encourage the younger generations to become involved in this campaign to protect our most beautiful natural resource.

"A record number of aquariums, zoos, and museums are providing ways on World Oceans Day for their visitors to get inspired and take personal action to help our world's ocean," said Bill Mott, director of The Ocean Project, in a statement.
