It's official - this year's Britain's Got Talent was the best ever*.

And that was down to the banter between the amazing line-up of judges, whose relationship has blossomed off-screen too by the look of David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon last night.

The trio were mixing business with pleasure as they were pictured LOLing leaving The Ivy in London - minus Simon Cowell who is busy filming The X Factor in America.

But he was still a hot topic of meal time conversation despite his absence.

David tweeted: "I just had an outrageous dinner with my on screen wives Alesha and Amanda. We had a good old gossip about you know who!"

He also seemed to confirm their return to the panel next year when he tweeted: "We all can't wait until next year's BGT..."

Neither can we David!
